Hello everyone. I’m pleased to report that A Painting to Die For is one of five new crime novels selected as finalists for the 2026 Awards of Excellence Shortlist.
The winner will be announced on May 29th. However, even being on the shortlist is an honour, and I’m thrilled my book has garnered great reviews on Amazon and Goodreads, and is now recognized by this well regarded association. Crime Writers of Canada was established as a professional organization in 1982 by Derrick Murdoch, the Globe and Mail’s crime fiction reviewer at the time, and other writers interested in quality Canadian mystery and crime writing.
